Magdalena Kedwani
Chief Regulatory Officer

AI will support radiologists in being faster and more precise in their decision taking process making it possible for them to focus on more complicated and difficult cases.

Never one to back down from a new challenge, Magdalena joined the contextflow family as Chief Regulatory Officer to help us obtain regulatory approval for medical devices as we scale throughout Europe and the US. While earning her Dipl.Ing. (equivalent to a Masters) in Biomedical Engineering from the Technical University of Graz, she worked as a Quality and Compliance Engineer at EXIAS Medical, assisting with the regulatory approval process for medical devices including CE and the international market. Previously she spent time working for Paracelsus Private Medical University (PMU) Innovations GmbH on ISO standards. Magdalena enjoys continual education, whether it be from the software development team or on the yoga mat.

Favorite meal: First a warm soup with “Frittaten” and a salad mixed with anything I can find in our fridge

Recommended reading: Der Schwarm by Frank Schätzing…I’ve already read it 3 times!

People would be surprised to learn…that I ran a marathon and would even consider doing it again!

If I wasn’t working as Chief Regulatory Officer, I would be…living close to the ocean and in the water every day. After a while I would be bored though, and I would need to learn something new, so an additional science education would probably be necessary.

Most rewarding part of my job: Understanding complex regulatory requirements and finding a way to create efficient procedures that also suit developers’ needs
