Luc Nicodème
Senior Machine Learning Researcher

As a machine learning engineer, I want to contribute to the development of our core features: automated medical image processing techniques for a fast and precise radiology workflow.

A sense of purpose in work brought Luc to the field of medical imaging. Raised near Paris, he earned both a Masters and Diplôme d’Ingénieur in Applied Mathematics from the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay and Télécom Paris, respectively. This field has many applications…surveillance, photography, etc, but he wanted his work to have a larger meaning and thus focused his attention on medical imaging. During his studies, Luc held internships with both IDEMIA (image registration in fingerprint videos) and GE (anatomic structures segmentation in CT scans using deep learning), where he later became a Computer Vision Engineer after graduation. This experience makes him an obvious fit for the role of Senior Machine Learning Researcher at contextflow, where he continues his quest to transform radiology on a global scale.

People would be surprised to learn…that although I am French, I don’t like most cheeses.

If I wasn’t working as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher, I would be…scubadiving near coral reefs.

Most rewarding part of my job: Getting positive feedback from people using my work
