Markus (aka Max) holds the title of “1st employee hire” at contextflow shortly after the company’s founding. He served as Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager for several years, helping contextflow SEARCH obtain its CE mark. As Chief Product Officer, Max excels at project management and product strategy, and can always be seen with a notebook in hand. In addition, he was responsible for completing the baseline studies for clinical use value of our software. Max holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in medical Informatics from TU Wien and worked previously as a Research Associate at the Computational Imaging Research lab at the Medical University of Vienna on topics ranging from machine learning in medical imaging and population analysis to segmentation and classification. Having volunteered for many years as a paramedic with the Austrian Red Cross, he performs well under pressure.

People would be surprised to learn…that I enjoy singing in a choir from time to time – although I am far from being good at it!
