Chief Quality Officer
The secret to my existence in one sentence: Winners are not those who never fail, but rather those who never quit!
The first thing you notice about Nilay is his can-do attitude. As contextflow’s Chief Quality Officer, he embodies positivity in everything he does. After a childhood spent in Ahmedabad, India, Nilay moved to Germany to play professional cricket in Germany. He returned home for several years, teaching German and working in business development and customer support for large corporations like Schneider Electric and Solid Systems Global. In 2013, Nilay relocated once more to a German-speaking country, this time to Austria, earning his Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering at the FH Technikum Wien and MSc in Molecular Biotechnology at FH Campus Wien. He then transitioned to working as a Research Assistant at the Austrian Institute of Technology and Research Laboratory Technician at the University of Vienna’s Department of Pharmacognosy. At contextflow, Nilay was responsible for implementing a QMS system in compliance with ISO 13485:2016 & EU MDR 2017/745 for CE Marking. He is currently focused on FDA approval. Nilay continues to fuel his love of India’s national sport as part of the Vienna Cricket Club.

People would be surprised to learn…that sharing is caring! My mother taught me to always help others in need.
If I wasn’t working as Chief Quality Officer, I would be…working as a Business Development Manager in a pharma company with the same mission: to bring better, faster healthcare to patients!
Most rewarding part of my job: Overcoming the regulatory hurdles well before the set deadline so that we ultimately help patients sooner
