Machine Learning Developer

AI will become an integral part of a radiologist’s daily workflow, enhancing both efficiency and diagnostic quality.
Konstantin could not have a more perfect background for his work at contextflow as a Machine Learning Developer. Currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Imaging at the Medical University of Vienna, he’s exploring how AI can unlock complex tumor patterns in lung cancer by experimenting with different types of CNN architectures.
With a background in biomedical engineering and hands-on experience at leading research labs, Konstantin combines strong technical skills (think PyTorch, Docker, Hydra, and SLURM) with a solid foundation in medical imaging modalities like CT, MRI, and PET. Before joining our team, Konstantin worked at the Computational Imaging Research Lab at the Medical University of Vienna and earned his MSc in Biomedical Engineering at TU Vienna.

People would be surprised to learn…that I get absurdly competitive when it comes to games and table tennis.
If I wasn’t working as an Machine Learning Developer, I would be…an astronomer, exploring the unfathomable scales of the universe and uncovering its mysteries.
Most rewarding part of my job: Successfully training well-performing models and seeing their impact in real applications
