Viewing Karl-Heinz’ project portfolio is like taking a clinic in advanced machine learning techniques. As a long-standing member of the Computational Imaging Research Lab (CIR) in Vienna, Karl-Heinz specifically spent his tenure in the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-guided Therapy working on topics like functional geometry and manifold alignment. He holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Medical Informatics from the Technical University of Vienna (TU) and is nearly complete with his PhD in Clinical Neuroscience at the Medical University of Vienna (MUW). Karl-Heinz’ extensive experience working with 3D medical images makes him a prolific publisher and presenter in renown conferences like MICCAI and ECR. Currently he is focused on machine learning R&D topics.
