contextflow is an award-winning startup developing artificial intelligence-based software applications to support radiologists during their clinical routine. Our clinical decision support system puts the knowledge encoded in millions of images at radiologists’ fingertips…fast. We are currently expanding our team providing the unique opportunity to join us and take over responsibilities of running our on-premise software deployment at customer sites as well as in the cloud.

As a Senior Devops Engineer at contextflow, you will support our team in developing, deploying and maintaining backend components. Our innovative medical product strives to bring state-of-the-art deep learning into clinical radiology routine. As a member of the backend team, you will help to develop the system delivering the technology using on-premise and cloud infrastructure, integrate machine learning technology and help put our system in production.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:

  • Support the ops team with installing, deploying and maintaining our software
  • Support the Software Development and R&D teams during development and testing
  • Focus on Developer Experience
    • Develop and maintain our CI/CD infrastructure
  • Improve Monitoring
  • Manage deployments on AWS and other cloud infrastructure

What we are looking for

  • Structured work style and high level of self-motivation
  • Work permit in EU or within +-2 hours of UTC
  • Fluency and proficiency in English both written and spoken
  • Strong belief in growing together as a team
  • Empathy for each other
  • 5 years experience in DevOps
  • Knowledge of the usual tools of the trade (AWS, Terraform/OpenTofu, Kubernetes, Nomad, git, GitLab-CI…)
  • Experience with Configuration Management and motivation to dive deep into Nix/NixOS
  • Grafana 
  • Familiarity with Network fundamentals like TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, LoadBalancers, VLANs, DNS, Firewalling
  • Familiarity with variety of programming languages their package management and tooling
  • Sufficient programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash, …)
  • Key knowledge of Linux/Unix fundamentals (know-how of up to “LPIC Level 3” is expected)

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in medical healthcare IT projects
  • Experience in working in CE certified software development
  • Experience with project management, planning, agile-methodology, discovering and tracking OKRs
  • Experience training and mentoring other developers
